Secondary
develop and collaborate
As students grow older, we continue our focus of building social skills while also improving their abilities across acting, dancing, and singing. Students get to collaborate, play, and make friends while building towards showcases and even music videos.
We work with every child and their grown-ups to create an environment that feels safe, supportive, and fun.
the mta academy
Our MTA Academy is a supportive, driven, show-focused class that builds solid techniques in singing, dancing, and acting. The Academy runs termly, and sessions are centred around building technique, as well as rehearsing for productions at professional venues.
The students get a greater level of training and understanding of the performing arts in their weekly sessions with industry professionals. In return, we expect students to be committed to attend every Saturday and bring with them energy, focus, and dedication.
If your child shows more interest in one or two aspects of musical theatre, we’d be happy to find roles for them that allow them to build those skills more! All decisions will be made for the benefit of each student and the ensemble as a whole.
free and reduced-rate places
In all our classes, we offer free and reduced-rate spots. This makes our classes as accessible as possible to people across the borough.

newsies jr at theatre peckham
From September onwards, our inaugural Academy group worked tirelessly towards a two-night run of Newsies Jr at Theatre Peckham. We worked closely with the group to turn an idea into a professional production, with auditions, dress runs, and intensive training under our Academy teacher.
The students loved the increased responsibility, and worked hard to support each other and perform as a true ensemble.
Our Academy is growing year-on-year as students discover the power and joy of performing as a company.
